Good morning, it is lovely to prepare things for this morning, even though we can’t be together.
I know I say this everytime, but we do mean it, if you would like a chat, just get in touch and email or send a message with your number to

mhcc.leics@hotmail.co.uk or our facebook page

We would be really grateful if you could tell other people about this page. We don’t have contact details for people in the group, so we need you to share the fact that we are here each week.

.

Shall we make some bunting to say thank you to the people who deliver the post and parcels?

What you will need
Old envelopes or pieces of paper folded in half lengthways and cut to a point.
String or ribbon to hold the envelopes.
Paints, stickers, wax crayons or felt tips.
Glue sellotape or staples to put it together.
Scissors (to tidy up the envelopes and cut string)

Open out the envelopes and decorate the inside (not the side with the writing on it).  You may want to cut the envelope into more of a V shape.

You could write a message on the envelopes or say thank you on a separate peice of paper

Work out how long the piece of string needs to be, and cut it off.

Fold the top of the envelopes over the string and then secure them with glue or sticky tape or staples

Place your bunting where the delivery people will see them.

(I’m sure you will spend a bit more time than I did and do it much better, please post your pictures on facebook for us to see.)

I hope that you are joining in with the singing each week. Let’s warm up by stretching as high as you can, touch your toes and stretch as wide as you can.

How about lions and monkeys and hyenas today, hyenas make a sound as if they are laughing, so we should be able to do that.

If you like watching animals have a look at this website, between  4am-7am and 1.30pm-4.30pm each day you can go on Safari in the North East corner of South Africa.  It is live so you may not see any animals or you may see leopards and lions and hyenas.  There are also recorded videos.

There is also a facebook page for families

See the little bunnies sleeping til it’s nearly noon
Shall we wake them with a merry tune?
They’re so still, are they ill?
No! Wake up bunnies!
Hop little bunnies, hop, hop, hop
Hop little bunnies, hop, hop, hop
Hop little bunnies, hop, hop, hop
Hop little bunnies, hop and stop

We know that this time can be very hard particularly if you are trying to home school the children and are worried about work and staying well.
For many of us, this week should be pay day, and some of us will have reduced pay or no pay.

If you are in difficulty please register with the Harborough Community Hub, they have all of the information about benefits and support, they can also make a referral to the Jubilee Foodbank. The Foodbank is getting extra support from places like a B&M specifically to help people who are affected by the virus, because they are ill, they are isolating or their work has stopped.
Don’t forget that you can get in touch with us as well.
