Hope that you are all well, it was lovely to have lots of messages and photos last weekend after you picked up your bags, please carry on sending them to us, we love to know that the bags are being used.
Your donations for the Activity Bags came to about £60 this month which we will send to Home-Start.
This week has Valentine’s day and Nikki has created a hug for you to make, maybe you could send it to someone you haven’t seen for a while.
Let’s make something together
You will need:
Craft foam hearts, Pipe cleaner, Wiggle eyes, pen, Glue
Instructions:
The hearts provided have a sticky back. You can unpeel the back or use glue.
Use a large craft foam heart as the face/body. Glue on wiggle eyes and a small heart as a nose. Use pen to add a mouth.
Take half a pipe cleaner and fold it in half, stick to the back of the large heart near the point (legs). Glue on heart feet.
Take one pipe cleaner and stick to the back of the large heart, in the middle, with even amounts of pipe cleaner at either end (arms). Stick on the smaller heart hands.
The arms are quite long and can be bent to look like they are going to give a big hug.
Time for some singing

If you are finding life tough there is really sensible advice on Home-Start South Leicestershire’s website and facebook page.
If you don’t actually want to talk but want to know that someone is there, text SHOUT to 85258 and a volunteer will text back. It is quite busy at the moment so it may be a few hours before you hear, but that doesn’t mean they don’t care.
The Bower House here in Market Harborough is unable to provide face to face counselling at present but get in touch (01858 469257) to find out about phone and online counselling, their website has useful resources.
Don’t forget we are always happy to keep in touch,
Liz, Nikki, Susie, Vikki, Jane and Jenny
