Good morning, would you like to start by making a picture?
Further down the page you will find words for some of our favourite songs.
Craft Time
It is Liz’s turn to pick a craft this week. You need paper, paints, scissors, and maybe a large sheet to cover the floor, the furniture and the cat, you know how it is when a toddler has paint!
She suggests that you fold a piece of paper in half, open it up, and then draw a butterfly with the body along the fold.
Fold it in half again along the body and paint one half only. Then press the two halves together and you should get a symmetrical butterfly.
Cut around the template when it is dry and maybe you could put it up in your window.
There are some templates here.
Have you got some chalks?
Could you draw a picture outside safely on a driveway or outside your front door, somewhere people will see it.
A butterfly, a rainbow or a message to make people smile would all be good.
Send us a photo via facebook we’d love to see them.
Singing Time
There are lots of songs online but I’ve included the words for some of our favourites,
Let’s start by waving our arms in the air,
stretch as high as you can,
touch the ground.
Now we can start….
Hair and shoulders, knees and toes
knees and toes
Hair and shoulders, knees and toes
knees and toes
and thighs and calves and heels and toes
Hair and shoulders, knees and toes
We have changed the words to avoid touching faces, see if you can sing it through without getting confused!

I’m suggesting Sea Otter as this week’s new animal in the zoo, the actions involve lying on your back and clapping your flippers. I’ll leave you to find out about the noise they make, but splash splash would do.
Take a few minutes to look at this webcam, it is in Monterey Bay which is in California.
Let us know which animals you are singing about.
Don’t forget The Wheels on the bus, Miss Polly had a dolly, Dingle Dangle Scarecrow (once you are on Youtube they will keep playing all day unless you stop them!)
Please do keep in touch with us,
on this page – we aim to update it each Friday morning until we can meet again.
on facebook
or we will give you a ring or text if you email your number or send it via messenger.
Some of us are have been isolating before this week’s news so it would be lovely to speak to someone outside of the house.
