If you or someone you know is living with the loss of a loved one, The Bereavement Journey offers a gentle and supportive space to reflect and find support alongside others who understand grief.
Hosted at the Congregational Church, this seven-session course is open to anyone who has experienced bereavement, whether recently or many years ago. Each session includes short films and guided discussion exploring themes such as understanding loss, the pain of grief, coping with change and finding ways to move forward. A final optional session explores questions of faith.
While the course cannot remove the pain of grief, it provides a compassionate environment to help people make sense of their experience and discover helpful ways of coping.
Dates: Wednesday 2nd September to 14th October at 10.30am
Location: Congregational Church lounge, entrance Bowden Lane
There is no charge for the course, but a donation of £5 towards the course handbook would be appreciated.
