The bags are out early this time because we wanted you to have them in time for Easter. We can’t do an Easter Egg Hunt this year which was one of our favourite Fridays, but instead we have included a stone in each bag—don’t eat it! We remember that Jesus was buried in a tomb like a cave and a stone was rolled across it and guards placed at the entrance so his body couldn’t be stolen. On Sunday morning when the women went to finish preparing Jesus’s body, they met him instead, because he had risen from the dead. The disciples came running to see the empty grave followed by the people who had killed Jesus. We have Easter egg hunts because we remember that despite the search they couldn’t find the body of Jesus.

We hope that when you have painted your stone that you will take it into town or a park and leave it for other people to find. There should be 40 around so make sure you look out for them.

This month our bags have been provided by Mors Bags again, all the material is recycled and it fits in with our church’s commitment to be an eco-church. We are really grateful that the Mors Bag team have given us the bags again, hope you find ways to use them.

Thank you again for the donations for HomeStart, we are glad that we are still able to support them, even when we can’t meet in the hall. Don’t forget to look at their facebook page and website for ideas>
We have send another £100 this month.

We’ll be back next week with our usual page, hope you have a Happy Easter.
