Thank you to everyone who sent us birthday cards, they have been in the window at Church and will go into a display board inside ready for when we open the building again.

I hope you have managed to pick up your bags okay, and enjoy this month’s surprise. When you look at them remember that there are people who care about you, you’re not on your own. You can always get in touch, the details are at the bottom of the page.

Thanks to Vikki for this week’s snowman, if you don’t have an activity bag this is quite easy to create by drawing round a mug and a glass.

Are you ready to make something?

Instructions to make Snowman
Glue the small circle (head) to large circle (body).
Glue the hat to the head.
Glue two eyes onto the face.
Make a hole to poke the pipe cleaner through to create a nose, bend over at the back and sellotape on back.
Draw on a mouth.
Glue on the buttons.
Glue on the bow tie.
Make holes to poke the stick arms through and sellotape them on the back.

Time for some singing – don’t forget to stretch1

Hair and shoulders, knees and toes
knees and toes
Hair and shoulders, knees and toes
knees and toes
and thighs and calves and heels and toes
Hair and shoulders, knees and toes

Miss Polly had a dolly
Who was sick, sick, sick
So she called for the doctor
To come quick, quick, quick

The doctor came
with his bag and his hat
And he knocked on the door
With a rat-a-tat-tat.

He looked at the dolly
And he shook his head,
And he said “Miss Polly,
Put her straight to bed.”

He wrote on the paper
For a pill, pill, pill
“I’ll be back in the morning
Yes I will, will, will.”

The wheels on the bus go round and round,
Round and round,
Round and round
The wheels on the bus go round and round
All day long.

The wipers on the bus go swish, swish, swish

The horn on the bus goes beep, beep, beep

The children on the bus go wriggle, wriggle, wriggle

The doors on the bus go open and shut

Happy birthday

A very happy birthday to

Quinn who is going to be four

Rafferty who is going to be three.

Lots of new people are following our page, so please let us know your child’s birthday and I will add them to the list.

It will be nine years on Monday (6th February) since the church opened the Jubilee Foodbank, the previous Friday fourteen local agencies had signed up to be referers and the number has grown since then. If you would like to make a donation to the foodbank please look at the website to see what is most needed and more importantly if you are finding yourself short of food please contact the Harborough Hub and they will make the arrangements with the foodbank.
If you want a chat please get in touch,
Jane, Jenny, Liz, Nikki, Susie and Vikki

The easiest way to keep in touch is on our facebook group, search for MHCC Toddlers’ Online, it is a private group so you have to join.
