Hello everyone,
We hope you are all keeping well and finding interesting ways to spend your days.
This weekend we are giving out the bags for April, and we are really looking forward to seeing some of you on Monday when you pick up the bags and help us to plant our Easter Garden.
If you want to join us, you MUST let us know before hand as we have to keep within the guidelines (from 29/3 upto 15 over-5s can attend an outside parent and toddler group).
In the bag you will find a stone with an outline on it, please paint the stone and place it somewhere in the town where other people can find it, and then look out for them when you are on your walks – there should be forty to find.
What shall we make this week?
How to make your threaded ball.
1. Firstly, let your child decorate the ball with crayons or felt pens. The ball is divided into sections, so your child can use all one colour, or do crosses, circles, or loops and strings. Whatever they enjoy doing themselves is perfect!
2. Next comes the wool threading. Again, whichever hole they wish to use is fine. It doesn’t have to be a carefully produced pattern.
3. If the wool splits, cut off a small portion. Or you can wrap a tiny piece of tape round the end, making it rather like a shoe lace.
Thanks to Liz for this activity, you will see that she has taken two photos, one of how it could turn out and another more realistic one!
Time for some singing!

merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily, life is but a dream
Row row row your boat, over to the shore
If you see a lion, don’t forget to roar
Row row row your boat, gently down the river
If you see a polar bear don’t forget to shiver
Row row row your boat, gently down the stream
If you see a crocodile, don’t forget to scream
Row row row you boat as fast as you can go
If you want to win the race, row and row and row
Happy Birthday!
Happy birthday to those of you with birthdays in the next two weeks.
Jago who will be 3

Kitty who will also be 4
Sophie who will be 3
We hope that you all have a lovely time and find ways to make this birthday special..
Next weekend is Easter weekend, so there won’t be the usual page, and we hope that you will spend some time hiding and seeking your painted stones.
Try not to eat all of your chocolate in one go! Unless you really want to of course.
Keep in touch, we’d love to see some more photos.
Liz, Nikki, Susie, Vikki, Jane and Jenny
