Good morning, we hope that you have had a good week, and if you have been using the activity bag that you had fun.

Thank you so much for sending us photos, we love to see them.

Your donations for Homestart came to £47.58 this month which we will pass on to them. Don’t forget to keep looking at their facebook page they have lots of great ideas.

If you have made the angel Christmas Card and can put one through the brown door on Bowden Lane we will make sure that it goes to one of our older people at church.

This week we are making a Christmas decoration, you will have to do some preparation but then the children can decorate it. If you have managed to get A band of Angels out of your head, this week have the Baby Shark tune, sorry!

Craft time

How to make a Christmas hanging bell.
Put the embroidery thread through the hole in the circle and tie.
Put one of the lengths of cotton through the same hole and through the hole in the top of the cardboard bell. Try to make sure that the bell is fairly central in the circle.
If you wish to use the metal bell, use the second piece of cotton to hang the metal bell over the bottom of the circle. ( The metal bell is probably a bit too heavy to hang from the cardboard bell.)
Your toddler can decorate as he or she wishes. They can use the stars and glue provided, or other decorations you might have. There are some holly leaves provided – they can be used as they are or coloured in, or used as templates for more holly leaves.
It can be used as a Christmas card by writing round the circle, or writing on a dangling piece of paper. Grandparents would love this! It can be hung in a window, or even on a Christmas tree.
You can make more of these by using the first bell and circle as templates.
Have fun!

Singing time

Are you ready to sing?
can you curl up tight?
and now stretch up tall.

Hair and shoulders, knees and toes
knees and toes
Hair and shoulders, knees and toes
knees and toes
and thighs and calves and heels and toes
Hair and shoulders, knees and toes

If you haven’t been at Toddlers’ Club on Friday mornings you will have missed this, we normally dress up and tell the Nativity Story and then join in with this song

Baby Jesus This video was created by Good Hope Christian Centre and is based on Baby Shark.
These are the actions which we made up.

Baby Jesus to the baby shark tune

Baby Jesus Cry like a baby
Mother Mary rock baby
Daddy Joseph put an arm around imaginary wife
The three wise men march carrying gift in front of you
Come the shepherds beckon other people
It’s the sheep baa like a sheep
Singing angels hands together in front of you
Happy birthday freestyle!
We love you Jesus make heart shape with hands
Happy birthday, x6 freestyle

Old MacDonald had a farm
E I E I O
and in that farm he had a …………
E I E I O
with a ……… here
and a ……… there
here a …….
there a ……….
everywhere a ………
Old MacDonald had a farm
E I E I O

Although only sheep are actually mentioned in the bible, we assume Mary travelled to Bethlehem on a donkey and the wise men may have travelled on a camel!

If you want to know what noise a camel makes, I think you should look at the videos, I couldn’t describe it!

Happy Birthday

Happy birthday to

Liliana who will be four

Albert who will be two

We hope you can find ways to make these days special.

We hope that you are all keeping well, these are difficult times, don’t put yourself under any pressure that you don’t need.

Toddlers don’t know how much you are spending on them, they don’t care if the tree is absolutely perfect and the sprouts are the best ever. We’re all making compromises this year, but it will be okay.

If you can get out for a walk, come have a look at our Nativity Panels, we are adding sections each week, and over the Christmas weekend you could come and have your photos taken by it, bring your own dressing up clothes!

Don’t forget that we love to hear from you, Jane, Nikki, Susie, Vikki, Liz and Jenny
