We hope that you are settling into a routine if your family is back at nursery or school.
We miss leading Todldlers’ Club on Friday mornings, but we did meet up last Friday in the sunshine and made plans for the next two months.
We are all creating an activity which will be in our new Toddlers’ Activity Bags and the instructions for one of the crafts will be on here each Friday morning.
PLEASE email us if you would like a bag, they will be ready to collect 9.45-10.45am on Friday 2nd or Saturday 3rd October, from the front steps of the Church on High Street.
Please don’t go into the building as other groups will be meeting and we have to restrict interactions.

What shall we make today?

Shape Pictures

You will need:

Scrap paper or we used coloured foam.

Scissors

Glue

1. Collect pieces of scrap paper, wrapping paper etc.

2. Cut out a variety of shapes in different sizes – circles, rectangles, squares, triangles, etc.

3. Have fun creating pictures from the shapes you’ve created.
Add more colours and shapes to add to your pictures and introduce your child to the names of more colours and more complex shapes. (Diamond, semi-circle, hexagon etc)

4. Have fun creating!

Singing Time

At the beginning of singing time we always stretch as high as we can, then we shake our hands and then our feet. Can you wiggle your nose?

Do you remember that we changed the words so that we don’t have to touch our faces?

Hair and shoulders, knees and toes

Hair and shoulders, knees and toes
knees and toes
and thighs and calves and heels and toes

Miss Polly had a dolly
Who was sick, sick, sick
So she called for the doctor
To come quick, quick, quick

The doctor came
with his bag and his hat
And he knocked on the door
With a rat-a-tat-tat.

He looked at the dolly
And he shook his head,
And he said “Miss Polly,
Put her straight to bed.”

He wrote on the paper
For a pill, pill, pill
“I’ll be back in the morning
Yes I will, will, will.”

We’d love to hear from you, we can always ring you back if you send us your number.
We miss you all,
