It was so lovely to see some of you last week when you collected your bags, we hope that you have enjoyed looking through them and that your egg head now has some hair!
If you are opening an envelope each week today it is time to make a leaf.
If you don’t have a bag there is a list of the things which you need below.

Time to make something

Making a stainded glass window

If you have an activity bag almost everything that you need will be in this week’s envelope.
Sticky backed plastic (sbp)
tissue paper cut into small pieces
a leaf template to cut round
wool
hole punch and scissors

1 Draw a large leaf onto a piece of sticky backed plastic if you don’t have the bag
2 Peel back the backing paper
2 Stick tissue paper pieces onto the sticky side, make sure that you cover it all
4 Turn it over and cut around the leaf shape
5 Put a hole in the top of the leaf and put the wool through the hole.
6 Hang it up in a window.

Time for some singing

Let’s start by doing some stretches, reach up as high as you can, and then stretch out to the side, and touch your toes.

We always start with Head and shoulders, and this is our covid version which avoids touching our faces.

This is a great time of year for going for a walk, either ‘round and round your garden‘ or going to a park and kicking the leaves around.

You could sing If you’re happy and you know it and stamp your feet in the piles of leaves.

Hair and shoulders, knees and toes
knees and toes
Hair and shoulders, knees and toes
knees and toes
and thighs and calves and heels and toes
Hair and shoulders, knees and toes

Round and round the garden
Like a teddy bear
One step
Two steps
Tickle you under there

If you are happy and you know it
Clap your hands
If you’re happy and you know it
and you really want to show it
Clap your hands
If you are happy and you know it
Clap your hands

If you’re happy and you know it
Nod your head,
Stamp your Feet
Shout we are

Do all four
