We are sorry that we are not able to meet up in person, but perhaps you would like to join in at home. If you would like to have a chat with one of us please email mhcc.leics@hotmail.co.uk or message via facebook with your number.
The picture shows Eleanor, Vikki, Susie, Gwen, Jane, Becca, Liz, Jenny, we’re not wearing our orange lanyards today, but we are all thinking about you.
Jenny says ‘Good morning, it’s lovely to see you all, would you like to start by making a rainbow picture. Lots of people are putting a picture of a rainbow in their window, and then if you can go out for a walk you will be able to look for them.
Christian people see a rainbow and remember that God is with them even in the bad times. The rainbow is made up of many colours and reminds us that we are all different but God loves us all.’
Here are some ideas of how you could do make a rainbow, you might think of a better idea.
Paints, rainbows are red orange yellow green blue indigo violet.
This is a chance to think about making colours, you need red, blue and yellow plus black and white to make it fun, for example red + yellow = orange.
Have you got tissue paper? tear it into little pieces and scrunch them up, then you can glue them to a sheet, maybe just do one colour now and let it dry, or you could create modern art with the arches all over the place!
We would love to see your rainbows, could you post them on fb or email them to us so we can share them with the older members of our church who can’t have visitors.
There are lots of songs online but I’ve included the words for some of our favourites, let’s start by waving our arms in the air, stretch as high as you can, touch the ground.
We have some new words for head and shoulders which mean you don’t need to touch your face, but you may need to practice first.
Hair and shoulders, knees and toes
knees and toes
Hair and shoulders, knees and toes
knees and toes
and thighs and calves and heels and toes
Hair and shoulders, knees and toes
