Junior Church meets on the second Sunday of the month, going out to a separate room part way through the service. Parents are welcome to join the group or to remain in the main church service.
We follow the same Bible passage as the adults but maybe our activities are a bit more interactive.  However we tell the story, we always want the children to know that Jesus is their friend and that they are part of the family of the church.  Nikki and Jane lead Junior Church and have a willing band of helpers.

The other weeks families are very welcome in church and we have activities available for use during the sermon for school age children.

Our children’s corner for pre-schoolers and recently been refurbished and has been approved by users in the all important under 5’s age group.
If your child has special needs which would make it difficult for them to remain in the main church service please let us know by emailing so that we can make appropriate arrangements.
Nikki and Jane both have DBS clearance and professional experience working with children, they are happy to talk through the risk assessment which has been completed.

We are also involved in the Church’s activities ‘on the Steps’, planting Easter Gardens, joining the Shepherds at Christmas for stories and hot chocolate, making gifts for Mothering Sunday while Mums have some peace inside the chapel.  Details are in the events page or our facebook page.
