Our church is a member of the Congregational Federation, along with other Congregational Churches, all of whom are independent and responsible for their own affairs. The Congregational Federation offers opportunities for training, development of children’s and youth work and advice and support.

Since 2018 we have been working in partnership with a Romanian Church in Târgu Mureş, there is a second collection plate in the church each week for the work in Târgu Mureş,
In 2019 we were pleased to welcome friends from the Citadel church to Market Harborough and in October 2022 Stephen, Liz and Sharron visited Târgu Mureş.
We were delighted to welcome György, Marcsi, Aliz and Lori back in April 2024 and to have the opportunity to hear about the ways our donations are spent.
It was wonderful to learn about each other’s culture again and be reminded that we are part of God’s global Christian church. Our guests visited the toddlers’ group at Market Harborough Congregational Church where the Toddlers attempted to say Hello in Hungarian, the café church service, church members’ homes, Jubilee Foodbank Market Harborough, Leicester Cathedral, Richard III Visitor Centre, Stratford, Shakespeare’s home, and some English countryside with spring lambs.
Blessings to our guests György, Marcsi, Aliz and Lori, and thank you for hosting our church members and reverend when we have visited your homes.
Békesség Istentöl!

Churches Together in Harborough brings Christians in the town to work and worship together.
We worship together during the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, on Good Friday, and in Christian Aid week.
As well as providing opportunities to worship together Churches Together offers a forum for its member churches which has led to joint projects such as
The Cube Youth project,
Harborough Christian Counselling Service (The Bower House)
Jubilee Foodbank
Donations from events we hold eg ‘On the Steps’ are divided between these charities.
In 2012 the church set up the Jubilee Foodbank, and since then it has grown as sadly the needs of the community have grown. The foodbank now has its own premises, trustees and is a charity in its own right. Members of the church continue to support the foodbank and Liz Mills the chair was awarded an MBE in 2021 for her work particularly during the pandemic.
We also support the work of Christian Aid with an annual Big Brekkie, in 2021 and 2022 it was delivered by bike and shared on zoom but now we are back to eating together in the Jubilee Hall and we welcome people form across the town.
