The Market Harborough Congregational Church Centre extends a warm welcome to the community.
Our popular rooms offer excellent facilities, conveniently located in the town centre at the top of the High Street.
Booking a room is easy and we pride ourselves on friendly and efficient administration. There is level access to enter the Centre and many parking options. There are washrooms on both floors and facilities for wheelchair users and baby changing.
Free Wi-Fi is offered throughout the building.
Our Rooms
Jubilee Hall
Dating back to the late 19th century the Jubilee Hall is a unique, beautiful space with high ceiling and wooden floor. It measures approximately 18m x 12m and seats 150 people in a theatre style.
Chairs and tables are easily accessible, and additional facilities include equipment for building a small staging area approximately 5m x 3m, sound system with microphones, a hearing loop and projection wall.
The hall has hosted Conferences, Training, Presentations, AGMs, Dances, Fitness/Yoga classes, Concerts and more. It is available for daytime or evening hire, during the week and on Saturdays (no Sunday hire).
The Kitchen
The Kitchen is connected to the Jubilee Hall through a serving hatch and is modern and well appointed . Measuring 5m x 4m, it has a large oven with six ring gas hob, dishwasher, urn, fridge and plenty of cups, saucers, plates and cutlery. The use of all of the items in the Kitchen is included in the hire price. It can be used for simply providing tea and coffee or providing large scale catering. It may be hired in conjunction with the Jubilee Hall or Lounge.
The Lounge
The Lounge is a carpeted ground floor room measuring 8m x 7m. It is comfortably furnished and a small modern kitchen is ideal for making tea and coffee. The room is hired to groups of 40 or less and may be set out in theatre style, or cabaret/classroom for group training or conferences. For presentations, there is a large projection screen, sound system and hearing loop. There is a connecting door to the Jubilee Hall, so that both rooms may be hired together.
The Ashley Room
Upstairs the Ashley Room is a bright and airy room with beautiful views. It measures 8m x 5m and is partially carpeted, partially laminated. There are tea and coffee making facilities.
The Langton Room
Also upstairs, the Langton Room is a well proportioned room, popular for yoga, Pilates, and training classes. It measures 6m x 6m and can be arranged for meetings in different styles to suit your needs. There are tea and coffee making facilities in a newly refurbished kitchen area.

By hiring our rooms you are deemed to be in agreement with our Terms & Conditions, which will be emailed to you at the time of booking.
Safeguarding Policy
The Church is committed to ensuring that vulnerable users of the building are properly supervised and looked after. Our safeguarding policy is available and all users must inform the Lettings Administrator if they plan to work with unaccompanied children or vulnerable adults. In such cases, a copy of a current DBS Certificate will be required.

GDPR
Should you hire our rooms, your data will be kept securely and only used for the purpose of invoicing and customer service.
Setting Up & Clearing Away
The onus is on the hirer to set the room up as they wish and clear it away after use. We will provide the tables and chairs for your event, in readiness for you to set them up. It is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure the room is left as they found it. All rubbish must be removed from the site after hiring a room.
