Toddlers’ Club start us off with an Easter Egg Hunt as part of the morning on 27th March and we have Easter books to give to all of the families.
We have an event On the Steps for families on Saturday 28th March 10-11.30 which will include planting the Easter Garden.
On Palm Sunday we have two services, one at 10.30am and a quieter more prayerful service at 6pm. You will be welcome at both.
On Maundy Thursday we have a Passover Meal, I know that everyone who attended last year would recommend that you join us. As the different courses are served, Roo explains the significance and how the Old Testament observance is relevant to Christians today.
On Good Friday we will have a short service in the chapel from 10am, allowing time to join the Easter Live on the Square from 11am to 1pm You can expect a live Gospel Choir, street drama, real stories, plus loads for families — children’s activities, crafts, face painting, and great food and drink!
Easter Day we are serving breakfast from 9.30am in the Jubilee Hall followed by Communion at 10am and then moving into the church at 10.30am. We hope during the morning to decorate the wooden cross with flowers to stand outside the church.
All of these events are open to everyone, please invite friends and family and join as much as you are able to as we travel through Easter Week to the joy of resurrection day.
