Well I say Spring, but the raining is lashing at the window as I write this but this is what we have got planned.
We began with the Toddlers’ Club 35th Birthday party on a really wet day, but a lot to be thankful for when we look back over the years.
There are three housegroups beginning the third week of January, two studying the Book of Exodus and the third looking at Christ in All Things as part of the preparation for membership.
We are also hoping to run a course called the Bereavement Journey, more information from Rev Roo MacRae.
On Saturday 24th January at 5pm we have a Burn’s Night Supper with haggis, vegan haggis and an alternative for those who don’t like spices. The suggested donation of £10 covers your meal and a quiz with a Scottish theme (starting revising now).

The World Day of Prayer is on Friday, 6th March, the Service will be on the theme of I Will Give You Rest: Come
, based on Matthew 11:28-30, and has been prepared by the Christian Women of Nigeria. We are meeting at 2pm at the Community Church this year.
We have decided to cancel ‘Mums on the Steps’ on 14th March, as a lot of our leaders are occupied in other places including the Congregational Federation’s East Midlands Area Assembly at Burbage.
We are continuing Soup Sunday on the second Sunday of the month when we invite you to join us for soup after the service, it is also the day when Junior Church happens so we’d love to see you at 10.30pm.
We will also be in church on Sunday mornings to praise God and meeting through the week at First Wednesday, Men’s Group, Toddlers’ Club and Tea at Two and having Sunday roast together.
