Sunday 1st December
10.30am Morning Worship for the first Sunday in Advent led by Jacquie.
We will also receive the gifts for Angel Tree.
Friday 6th December
9:45-11.15, Toddlers’ Club begin the story of Jesus birth, this year we are sharing a book called Who Can It Be? by the Bible Society and there will be dressing up from our dresssing up boxes – we’re now up to three big boxes.
Sunday 8th December
We welcome Rev Brian Kennard to lead our second service in Advent.
Friday 13th December
The last Toddlers’ Club of the term so we are in Church for a very short crib/chaos service, dressing up, things to find in addition to our usual morning activities.
Sunday 15th December
We are meeting at 3pm instead of 10.30am for our Service of readings and carols. The carols have been chosen by members of the congregation and Martyn will be playing the organ for us. There will be refreshments in the hall afterwards including Mulled (not) Wine and mince pies.
Sunday 22nd December
This will be our inclusive nativity service led by Jenny, with support from Nikki and her team of craft preparers. There will be familiar lively carols and maybe new words to a tune we know from Toddlers, we are starting at 10.30am but get there a bit early as you will need to make some of the items we will use in the service.
Wednesday 25th December
We always enjoy meeting with our friends from the Baptist and Methodist churches on Christmas Morning, starting at 10am for about 45 mintues, some of you will have been up for hours, while others can have a bit of a lie in, before we ‘Come and join the celebration’
Baptist Church this year, on Coventry Road next to the Co-op.
Sunday 27th December
Margaret is organising Cafe Church for us, breakfast served from 10am with a formal start at 10.30am. There is always discussion, prayers and something to make as we talk. You will be very welcome, come in from Bowden Lane, we will be in the hall.
