We invited members of Toddlers’ Club past and present to make Christmas wreaths on Tuesday evening. This was our second year and again we all really enjoyed it.
We bought new rings but otherwise reused, recycled and ransacked our gardens in accordance with our ambitions as an eco-church, although the snacks were all new!
About 20 of us met and mainly used greenery, but a couple of people relaxed by tying rags into knots to make a very colourful wreath.
Thanks to members of the church who helped in the background and on the night and particularly to everyone who took part.
We ask for donations with a suggested amount of £5 as we always want to be inclusive and ended up with £60 to be donated to The Cube youth project and to the Bower House, the Christian Counselling Service.
