Toddlers Club weekly 9.30 – 11.30am. Toys, activity and story for pre-schoolers and their carers, singing and musical instruments with lots of actions.

We hope that everyone will join in the big square during singing time. There is tea and chat for grown ups and an opportunity to get to know other parents (Mums and Dads) and grandparents, we charge £2 per family.

We welcome new borns and there is an area marked off which should be free of bikes!

We normally meet during Leicestershire term times, we begin again on 30th August, through to December (either 13th or 20th, not planned that far!) but we will be closed on 18th October for half term.  If we have bad weather and need to cancel, it will be advertised on this website and our facebook page.

One of the highlights of our Summer Term is the Teddy Bears’ Picnic which took place on Friday 5th July from 11-12.30 at Welland Park by the Park Cafe, there was singing, crafts and stories.  You can see photos from 2019 here

In the Autumn term we will be preparing for Harvest and for Christmas which usually involves lots of dressing up (costumes provided).

Photos from previous years can be seen here

The church is running a Toy Swap at the same time as Toddlers’ Club, if you bring a toy you can swap it for any item on the table or receive a token if there isn’t anything you want that day, and items can be reserved if you don’t have anything with you. This is part of our commitment to be an Eco Church.

Some of our parents have been kind enough to leave us comments on our facebook photos.

Love this play group always welcoming, plenty for the children to do. Tea, biscuits.. Here’s to another 26years x

I remember coming to this group with my two and have very happy memories thank you to all I met up with there – you were a lifeline at the time! Xx

“i loved toddlers! All 3 of mine went there from birth to school age. Still miss it on a fri morning! Made lots of friends there : ) xxx”

The group is a part of the Congregational church and we would love to welcome you to our services on Sunday mornings and other activities, but we don’t pressurise anyone.
