Fundraising

Since 2018 we have been supporting our partner church the Citadel Reformed Church in Romania.  There is a second collection plate in the church each week for the work in Târgu Mureş,
In 2019 we were pleased to welcome friends from the Citadel church to Market Harborough and in October 2022 Stephen, Liz and Sharron visited Târgu Mureş.  This is a report on their visit.
We were delighted to welcome György, Marcsi, Aliz and Lori back in April 2024 and to have the opportunity to hear about the ways our donations are spent. A report on the visit and photos are here.

We also support the work of Christian Aid with an annual Big Brekkie, in 2021 and 2022 it was delivered by bike and shared on zoom.  In 2023 and 2024 we combined it with an event ‘on the steps’ and welcomed families for breakfast.

Donations from our events are given to The Cube Youth Project and the Bower House Counselling Service both local charities within Churches Together in Harborough.
